Utah Sends Top Players to Iowa Central

6 Utah standouts have now committed to play soccer at Iowa Central College in 2009. JUCO transfer Diego Dambe comes to ICCC from Dixie State. He is a crafty midfielder with an exceptional soccer IQ. Jens Smith is a defender from Provo High school with incredible strength and ability to serve in dangerous balls. Sean Miller is a senior central defender at Timpview High School. Timpview is ranked #3 in Utah for class 4A Soccer. Tyler Wood is defender from Tooele High School and will be contributing to both the Iowa Central Soccer Program and Music Program! Tyler is a multi-talented athlete and has played on the same club team as both Jens Smith and Sean Miller. Taylor Hancey, a defender from Layton High School in Layton, Utah comes to Iowa Central after playing in one of the toughest regions in Utah 5A soccer. He has speed, and composure and will likely see many roles on the field this fall. After a back and forth season, Layton knocked off #4 powerhouse Alta in the first round of the 5A playoffs. Bingham High School captain Jared DeHart rounds the list of Utah talent looking to take the field for the Tritons this fall. Jared is a central midfielder for Bingham who compete in the highest class of Utah soccer. He definitely be a contributing factor to the success at Iowa Central this fall.
